Message from the Principal
Principal
ENOMOTO Yasutomo M.A. in Japanese Language Education, Nanzan University A pass certificate of Japanese Teaching Competency Test approved by The society of Teaching Japanese Language as a foreign Language Former Lecturer of Nanzan University Former Curriculum Coordinator of Japanese Language Course, Department of Eastern Language and Culture, Velko-Tarnovo University, Bulgaria ( He has more than about 30 years years teaching experience in Japan, Bulgaria, Hungary and Federate States of Micronesia ) |
A principal of Japanese language school in Vietnam told his students who were supposed to
study
in Japanese language school in Japan that you must endure " 2 years' hellish period",
form his experience in Japan.
Actually, it is maybe " the hellish period" for foreign students to study Japanese
for many hours everyday in order to enter university as a working student.
For such reason, you have to have a strong will and healthy body.
Students are expected to do hard work in and out of our class. For example,
you have to do many homework and prepare for next class and quiz everyday.
( UIS offers more homework & quiz than other schools ! )
So you might not have enough time to enjoy living in Japan for 2 years or
1 year and half. But if you tackle preparation and review of class work,
assignments and quiz everyday, then we promise you will be able to enter better
university than the one you were thinking.
So let's study and challenge together!

soon if you come and start your new life in Japan? These are studied in "second-language
acquisition" and still new theories are developed.
UIS's teachers are really hardworking.
So, we participate in many sessions and academic meetings about Japanese language and learn new
knowledge and theories everyday. Let's grow up together here, in this environment both students

There are many foreign people who admire Japan, especially
in Asian countries. We have heard many people say they want
to go to Japan to study there or work there. I suppose it
is mainly because of high level of scientific technique at
the cutting edge of medical science, automobile, electric appliances,
aircraft and animated cartoon industry.
There are 2 difficult aspects for young foreign students who want to go
abroad studying in Japan, high cost of general living and difficulty of mastering
Japanese.
UIS has good scheme for those matters and UIS staff, as your family in
Japan, get ready to support our students who are eager to improve his/her
ability. Our UIS staffs strongly hope for your enrollment into UIS and
are pleased to support all of our students in every aspects such as
studying Japanese, selecting higher educational institution and living in Japan,
if you act up to UIS Principal – keeping school regulation and our promise,
coming class without late and so on – and aspiring ambition to use your time wisely
in UIS for seeking your success in the future.
We are looking forward to seeing young people who have ambition to
master Japanese and a strong will to make his/her dream come true in Japan.

How is life in Japan for everyone? I understand it can be challenging at first and that you might have many concerns. When I came to study abroad, I faced similar difficulties. However, don't give up. Study hard, make an effort to learn Japanese, and once you acclimate, you'll find it both interesting and enjoyable. If you have any worries, don't hesitate to ask your teachers for help. The UIS family is very kind and supportive.
