Cell phone

There are a number of major cell phone carriers in Japan. "Unlimited internet connection without extra charge," or "free calls and emails between cell phones of the same carrier,"UIS will carefully select a trustworthy company and offers our students the opportunity to actually use the cell phones at school and be able to receive an explanation of the services and sign up with an interpreter on site.

National health insurance

UIS students, foreign students who plan to stay in Japan for more than 6 months, will need to enroll in the "National health insurance". You enroll at the KANIE town hall with our staff. You will only be liable for 30% of any medical expenses at hospitals.
Failure to join this program can result in very high medical expenses. We recommend that students join the program.

Transportation

In Japan, there are various means of transportation including train, subway, shinkansen (bullet train), bus, monorail and taxi.
